The joy of my life ...

As I enjoy the new life I've made with retirement and writing I find myself enjoying the company of my grandchildren. My two grandsons are 13 and my granddaughter is 6 so the age range allows for a wide variety of activities to explore.

Unfortunately, my boys are not into sports so that eliminates a good deal of ideas for things to do. Their favorite things to do are swimming, movies, and playing games.

My girl is much easier to please. Age and gender bring a multitude of ideas for things to do. I have an art table in the playroom specifically for her consisting of crayons, markers, paint, construction paper, and coloring books. This has been considered healthy for me to get in touch with my inner child. She also loves the park, Chuck E Cheese, playing hide and seek, or just running around the house being chased. I love her giggles.

There were times I didn't think I would ever be this happy. But all things in God's time.
